2012 Mini COOPER JOHN COOPER WORKS COUPE JOHN COOPER WORKS

The 2012 MINI John Cooper Works Coupe represents the pinnacle of MINI's performance engineering, built with input from the brand's own motorsport division. This isn't a MINI with a sport package bolted on — it's a purpose-built performance machine with a JCW-tuned 1.6L turbocharged engine producing 208 horsepower, paired exclusively with a slick 6-speed manual gearbox that rewards an engaged driver. The distinctive coupe roofline, lowered sport suspension, and aggressive body kit set it apart visually from every other MINI on the road.

This car is perfect for the enthusiast who wants a genuinely fun daily driver without the price tag of a modern performance car. It's compact enough for easy city parking around London, yet ferociously quick when you find an open stretch of road — the kind of car that makes even a grocery run feel like an event. Front-wheel drive with a limited-slip-style sport tuning keeps things playful but controllable.

Key strengths here are the manual transmission (increasingly rare to find, especially in a JCW), the distinctive black exterior that suits the car's aggressive character, and a genuine factory performance pedigree that's hard to replicate with aftermarket parts. At under $14,000, you're getting specialty performance engineering at a used economy-car price point.

For Ontario buyers, this JCW Coupe is a smart buy — it's a low-cost way to own a certified performance nameplate, ideal as a fun second car, a weekend driver, or a spirited commuter that won't break the bank on insurance or fuel thanks to its efficient turbo four-cylinder. Silverstone Motors in London is proud to offer this rare manual JCW Coupe to discerning MINI enthusiasts across southwestern Ontario.
