Subaru Forester Questions Answered
Is the Subaru Forester a reliable used SUV?+
Reliability depends on the model year, maintenance and history of the individual vehicle. Silverstone Motors provides a Carfax history report with every Forester, so you can check its accident and service record. Look for service records, low rust on Ontario-driven vehicles, and a clean accident history.
What's a fair price for a used Subaru Forester in Ontario?+
Prices vary by year, mileage, trim and condition. Silverstone Motors's Subaru Forester is currently priced at $10,995, with the full price shown on each vehicle.
Can I get financing for a used Subaru Forester with bad credit?+
Silverstone Motors works with lenders for all credit situations — good credit, bad credit, no credit, post-bankruptcy, consumer proposal, newcomer to Canada. Apply online before shopping so you know your budget; approval is up to the lender.
What years of used Subaru Forester offer the best value?+
Generally 3 to 7-year-old Foresters offer the best balance — most of the depreciation is behind you, but plenty of life remains. Compare the years Silverstone Motors has in stock, or tell us the year range you want.
How long does it take to locate a used Subaru Forester?+
It depends on the year, trim and budget you want. Tell Silverstone Motors what you're looking for and the team will contact you when they find a match — you can apply for financing at the same time.
Is the Subaru Forester good for Ontario winters?+
The Subaru Forester handles Ontario winters well, especially trims with all-wheel or four-wheel drive. Silverstone Motors can confirm the drivetrain spec on any specific Forester you're considering. Winter tires and a regular maintenance schedule are still strongly recommended.
Does Silverstone Motors offer trade-in value on my current vehicle toward a Subaru Forester?+
Yes. Bring your current vehicle in for a trade-in appraisal — even if there's still a loan owing on it. Any equity applies directly to your next vehicle.
